The Northview boys track and field team traveled to Terre Haute South on Thursday night and won the Big 5 championship. Austin Brewer broke his school record in shot put for the 3rd time this season with a throw of 54 feet, 9.5 inches! Team scores were: Northview - 135 TH South - 98 TH North - 36 Sullivan - 34 West Vigo - 24 Event winners for the Knights were: Zane Scales - long jump (20-6.5) Slade Fell - discus (156-1) Austin Brewer - shot put (54-9.5) 4x800 relay team of Landon Propst, Maxx McCullough, Will Harms, and Owen Frazier (8:32.07) 4x100 relay team of Bryer McCluskey, Colton Bath, Keegan Bell, and Logan Bell (43.58) Peyton McCollum - 400m run (52.80) Landon Propst - 800m run (2:01.19) 4x400 relay team of Zaiden Reisinger, Peyton McCollum, Landon Propst, and Owen Frazier (3:31.40) Northview will compete again next Thursday in the WIC championship track meet.
