Northview: 94 Evansville Mater Dei: 94 Gibson Southern: 108 Eastern Greene: 111 Evansville Reitz Memorial: 115 Avon: 151 Pike Central: 176 Barr-Reeve: 180 Castle: 212 North Knox: 265 The lady Knights competed and came out with a team victory in the 13-team South Knox Invitational this weekend. The ladies did a great job of getting out conservatively and moving up a lot throughout the second half of the race to end up in a tie with Evansville Mater Dei. Tiebreaker came down to which team's 6th-place runner finished higher. Cora Fredericks finished in 47th place, a whole 25 spots better than Mater Dei's 6th-runner, to secure the win for the Knights. Senior Hannah Harrison finished off a strong week by winning her second meet in 4 days. Harrison took over the lead about a half-mile into the race and never looked back to win by a comfortable 14 seconds. The ladies showed a lot of improvement from this meet last year.
